Jim Flowers – Executive Director Linked in
Regardless of your exact interest in VT KnowledgeWorks, you can start by contacting Jim. He will be, as appropriate, your tour guide, welcoming committee, program manager, counselor, advocate, critic, and friend.  Jim screens new companies for admission to the program and is the principal counselor for new Member companies as they plan and execute their launches. He also conducts our Founders' Readiness Workshops several times each year. Start by meeting him and sign up for an appointment!

Dr. Richard (Dick) Daugherty – Director of Strategic Services Linked in
Dr. Daugherty helps emerging and evolving technology-based businesses assess, quantify and prepare for the exploitation of their business opportunities; development of business strategy and preparation of documents needed for investor discussions. Typical projects involve gathering data needed for a company to make an intelligent decision about a market opportunity, its competition and the potential financial rewards associated with a market opportunity.

Christine Spalding – Member Services Coordinator
Serving as facilitator, coordinator, and support to the Executive Director, Christine assures members receive the utmost benefit from the comprehensive VT KnowledgeWorks suite of program services.  Whether she is coordinating educational meetings, synthesizing strategic planning assistance, or orchestrating public relation services, she demonstrates dedication to her first priority VT KnowledgeWorks Members. Her scope of responsibility also extends into financial management, event planning, program and publicity coordination, and office and building management.

Lindsey Eversole – Outreach Manager Linked in
Lindsey oversees and manages the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Partnership Week , which offers university students and faculty, and companies from all over the world a chance to collaborate, exchange information, build relationships, and form partnerships. She plans and executes the Global Partnership Week, including the Global Student Business Concept Challenge and the university-to-university relationship roundtable. Her scope of responsibility also extends into other global outreach programs, media, publicity, and public relations.

Anne Giles Clelland – Author of Inside VT KnowledgeWorks Linked in
Anne Giles Clelland writes the VT KnowledgeWorks blog - Inside VT KnowledgeWorks, and assists member companies gain publicity throughout the New River Valley and beyond. She has been widely publicized and is listed in A Directory of American Poets & Fiction Writers from Poets & Writers. She also has served as an instructor and Internet consultant for the University of South Florida.

Kenneth Ferris – Presidents' Council Moderator 
Ken is a serial entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience which has included being on the founding team of three technology start-up companies, each of which was sold to a large, publicly traded company. The product technologies involved included fiber optic communications, DSL, wireless sensors, and medical devices. He is currently President of Brookewood Management Advisors, assisting technology companies with strategic business planning and operations. Ken, an engineering graduate of Virginia Tech, is past President and currently on the Board of the Roanoke Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC).
